SpringHill Suites Vegas Changes Hands in $75 Million Transaction

Apple Hospitality has recently acquired the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Las Vegas Convention Center for approximately $75 million, as revealed by Clark County property records. The 299-room hotel, situated just off the Strip and on 1.6 acres of land, originally opened its doors in 2009 and is strategically located next to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Nelson Knight, the President of Real Estate and Investments at Apple Hospitality, pointed to various factors influencing the acquisition, with the 2024 Super Bowl on February 11, which is expected to draw around 330,000 people to the city, being a significant driving force. Knight emphasized Las Vegas’ reputation as a premier gaming and entertainment destination, highlighting its dynamic expansion in recent years with the addition of major league sports teams, the Sphere, and Formula 1 racing. These developments aim to capture an even larger share of the leisure travel demand.
